hey, thye other day when i arrived, i saw a gx at an auto exchange place, which is where u can buy cars like the gx only here and its not available at the regular dealers here. here in the philippines, there is no dealership for Lexus. The Prado is here, the new one that is similar to the gx. The gx here on sale is an ash blue mica with dvd and third seat only, because there is no navigation satelite here, runs for $80,000 haven't seen one on the road yet, and hopefully never, but that's expensive. they don't even have a rx330 yet. I seen 2 lx470 already and a 99 rx300.

about 1.5x the cost of the vehicle is not so bad compared to other luxury vehicle cost over in the Philippines.

the multiplier actually went down from as high as 3x the cost of the vehicle some years back.

its not that they dont have a nav satalight.. the gps satalites work world wide.. even in the ocean hahah i took my gps and mappoint on the cruize it was fun... well its that they dont have a nav cd for that part of the world :-/
