I received a call from them earlier today. They told me also that they were receiving them in on Saturday. Told me they would be shipping mine on Monday :-)

Greetings Lexusnc,

Any progress on the HID install (pics)? I am very interested on your results.

Thanks!

I just got the shipping confirmation and tracking number from proxenon. I should have the HID's by middle of next week and I should have them installed within 2 hours of receipt. I'll post a follow-up then, hopefully with pics of the install and a before and after of the head lamps.

Appreciate the prompt reply. Are you also planning to replace the Fog lights to match your HID too? If so, do you have any brand in mind? I spoke with the folks @ Proxenon and was recommended the Sylvina Silver Star line.

Thanks again!

I have not really thought about the fog lights. After I get the HID's in I look and see what I think about fog lights. I put a 7000K kit into my RX300 and did not replace any other lights, and I think it looks quite good...... I'll let you know.

I installed Fogs. They work pretty nice. I believe they were the PIA's that someone posted a link to earlier.

Greetings IS300GAL,

Which PIAA serie did you install for your fog (H3 bulb rigth)? I am debating between the Ion Crystal, Xtrem white (5000K) , and Super Plasma (4150K).

Thanks in advance!

Question Hid Kit for Fogs (H3)

would you think putting a Hid Kit for the Fog Lamps as "overkill"?

What did this kit cost and how look did it take to get them? Also, does the dealer have a web page?

Default drain on battery for Hids

would having the two hid kits (one for lowbeam and one for fog lamps) strain the battery?

the cost for the 7500K kit is around $450.00

wait was only a few days (3-4 days) as the distributor had it on stock

Remember, HID's use less not more power than regular bulbs. The only thing is the ignighters do need a surge of power at start up, but the GX should be able to handle both no problem.
