Has anyone else experienced wheel surface problems or signs of peeling paint on them?

Get on the phone now with your dealership and start the ball rolling. This will not be something that will get resolved overnight. I had to fight for them to replace the rims. I also went through 3 dealerships. It took me about a month for them to give me the answer I wanted.
Mine were replaced because I refused to take No for an answer and told them I was going to be their worse nightmare because I wasn't going to go away.
This site is top notch when it comes to any questions you need answered and they will take the time to help when ever they can.
OK I just saw where your are from. Stay away from Lexus of Cherry Hill all they want to do is tell you that it's your fault for letting the brake dust sit on them. He did not like my answer to that one.
Try Lexus of Atlantic City. There is a rep there named Chuck he's very fair and knows about the problem.
Good Luck,
