Default New all season tires for the GX

Jumped ahead of myself on getting tires for my 2004 GX.

I usually research first, come to a conclusion then purchase.

This time I was at Sears automotive and got a close-out set of Goodrich Long Trail T/A for $110 each.

Anybody here on this site have those? And what are your opinions on them?

P.S. I made sure to put the Raised White Letters on the inside. Just too 'busy' looking otherwise.

Did you get the Long Trail T/A Tour or the Radial Long Trail T/A?

Aren't tires suppose to be directional. I think you may lose some traction by reversing the tires.

I6turbo, I got the tour. Tires say "Long Trail T/A Tour"

litogo, thats a great question! I really don't know. It would seem that a tread pattern like 'Aquatred' that would be critical, but I really don't know if reversing a tread pattern like this would make a difference. Maybe someone here could clarify.

Even if they were directional you could put the white letters on the inside if you wanted. You'd just put the tire that would otherwise go on the left (if you wanted the letters showing), on the right, and visa versa. That said, I'm not sure if anyone makes directional white letter tires or not, because it seems that would require them to have two SKU's of each size -- one for the left side of the vehicle and one for the right. IIRC, I've never seen any that way...
