I'm also glad that the GX has been restrained when auto makers are trying to one-up each other on unnecessary features. Too much on the GX and you might as well get the LX.

It should get a 6 speed, the Smart Key and heated / ventilated seats.
No power liftgate as it is retaining the current design on the tailgate. Yes on the power 3rd row, which will be fold-flat.
HID's are iffy, since the LX doesn't get them. Same for Park Guidance, which is more a show-off toy than anything practical. No one-upping the LX for less money.

I am planning to buy a new GX470 but I have several issues w/c I don't like.
> Hanging third room seats.
> Rear door ( should be the same as the 4runner).
I have a 2000 Toyota 4runner SR5 and I love it. But I want to have a GX too.
Lexus change these annoying features and I promise you that I will buy your newest GX model as soon as it is out in the market.

I'm for Ipod integration, power lift type tailgate, and "fold out of the way" 2nd row seats for that extra cargo room. LED lights will come with the next redesign (I hope). It is definately time to update the electronics too. Hard drive in CD playback as Infiniti does it would be nice.
Be sure the Ipod integration doesn't eat up glove box space as it is small now!!
