Default GX vs X5 Hill Climb

Tires? Ground clearance? Finding the right path groove... Or the GX just dominates
Tires would be a major factor here.

I think the Lexus has a little more ground clearance. But aside from that, he picks a better line, and a little extra appropriate momentum. Still nice to see.

I think momentum and tires were the key.
I've been watching some of the videos from Russians and man those are crazy, wow!

The ground clearance of the GX helps, but I think it's mostly the tires.. The BMW looks to be running the staggered 20" tires, I think they're 275/20 fronts and 315/20 rears, they could even be performance tires . The GX on the 265/18's is definitely going to get through the mud better.

It's still fun to see, no matter. Maybe we should start a sticky of pix and video of your vehicle in the boonies. Would be fun to see.

Doesn't look like X5 was bottoming out or hitting the dirt. Looks like technique got the GX through it.

That said, the higher ride height and taller tire on the GX allowed the driver to be more aggressive with momentum there.

Both vehicles could benefit from better tires and locking diffs.

He does have some aftermarket mods but good video nonetheless.... IMO.
