I think I found the one you're looking at.

At its price you're looking at easily $25k more for a new one with DSP so that idea might be out the window, up to you.

And yeah that accident shows up right away on the carfax, which is likely why the price is already so low. IMO if stuff like lane departure, radar cruise control are important to you then I would want to avoid a car with previous front end damage. You would have to do a thorough inspection and lengthy test drive to make sure all of the bells and whistles still work, and you might get surprises later. Again IMO, probably not worth the hassle.

Thank you for the advice. The whole reason I'm buying a Lexus is because of the reliability and I couldn't agree with you more. This car could prove to be a lemon.

What year is your GX? And did you buy a L-Certified?

Additionally I have an associate in Automotive Maintenance Technology, before I pursued a business degree so most repairs will be done by yours truly .
....maybe a misunderstanding here.
not saying you cheap or not..I'm just saying it is NOT that reliable as your civic. It's a plus that you can fix your own car. Again, 9 hours drive 1 way is insane, plus car with history of accident.

So I managed to lock my account up so I did a live chat with a rep and asked your question. I was told only one VIN can be used under your account. I asked if there was a work around such as deleting the account and starting over with a new VIN and was told no. I can't look at the site to see any options because the chat rep couldn't unlock my account and had to create a service ticket. Maybe I am blacklisted

You can definitely have more than one VIN on Lexus owners. I have 3 for all of the Lexus I currently own, and I occasionally add a 4th when I find a car that peaks my interest. lol

The selling dealer will know though, when they go to pull the service history. When I bought my ES350 and ES300, the dealer looked at me all weird when he printed the service history and saw my name as the owner since he hadn't even written up the paperwork yet. haha

at one time I had 3 gx linked to my account. Mine, my sister's, and a a member on here who claimed his back seat burned by itself and lexus refused to fix.....all worked fine. I since then unlinked them. So, sure you can have multiple VINs as you wish.

Bought a GX!!! Now time for Mods!

can someone help me with the module that makes the side view mirrors auto-retract. I am almost certain I read about it here but I just can't find it now.

No, not here at least. Found this OEM and googled the part number and one of the results takes me back to ebay where they say it fits the GS and RX.

Maybe ill create one, I did that for a CZ Rami I bought. Polished the barrel into chrome.
Auto folding mirror and Navigation bypass are the first 2 Mods that I will work on.
