Default Putting GX into low range and differential lock

If the vehicle is used exclusively on road, do you try to put your vehicle in low range or lock the differential from time to time on the appropriate surface of course to keep the mechanicals working properly?

I see on some 4wd forums that this is done on part time 4wd trucks, but I wonder if the same applies on full time trucks like the GX?

I do every now and then if I remember.

It's a legitimate low range and diff locker.

I have read that you need to "use it or lose it" but I have not yet heard of a GX owner losing their diff lock or low range.

I see, putting the GX in 4 low on a rougher road shouldn't be a problem. Probably will have to wait for snow to use the diff lock.

I regularly do this from time to time (every 2 months) when i haven't been off roading in sometime.

Lenny, It certainly does not hurt. I might add that when you put it in low range, and/or lock the diff, try to be on dirt (not pavement) when you do it.
