Default Buying new GX

Hi,
I am buying a new GX 2017 or 2016 not sure and will be making my purchase in Dec 2016. I have read about the KDSS suspension package and was wondering how do I get that option? Is it part of the sport package with captains chairs?

KDSS= Active rollbars that can help lateral body control to an extent but also disconnect antirollbars when off road. I beleve all US Spec get this standard.

Active Suspension with rear air: Bags in the back, and the shock towers have some adjustability on 4 corners to give your comfort, normal, and sport. Its a more primitive magnaride. Luxury trim only

i`d figure out what your looking for by going on a test drive.

Things to consider:

1) Long term reliability bags will go bad, and then its time for new bags or controllers =$$$$
2) If you want a lift, the options go down. Not many peeps want to touch bagged setups.

Kdss is standard on GX. It really needs it with all the weight.

KDSS has nothing to do with the weight of the vehicle. It has everything to do with giving the ability to handle both street and off-road use....as in real rock climbing sort of off-road use. Anybody do that in a Lexus?

So KDSS is standard? I dont plan on keeping the GX more than 5 years. I think the KDSS is a must on these trucks to improve ride quality.

You'd think a superbike guy would understand weight transfer in a corner...

Yes.

Pickup any GX brochure and it should mention it on a page or two.

You don't have to hunt it down as a rare option like on the 4Runner or the GX470.
