Cargo space - actual number?

I'm sure it will come out but you won't be able to remove the high entry point where the rear door closes. You will have just a big ugly hole to put things in. I guess if you need the space it would work.

Can somebody Measure the Cargo Opening on their GX for me?
Hello,
My wife's got the 2013 GX at work right now and I need to know if I'll be able to fit some chairs that I found on Craigslist in the in the back or if I need to rent a pickup.
Online, I can easily find the cargo capacity in cubic inches, but what I really need to know is how much room I have from the floor of the cargo area (with the seats folded down) to the top of the door seal. Please see attached pic.
Thanks in advance if anyone can take this measurement or link me to a better set of dimensions.

Great... I get scolded by a woman here also
I did a quickie measurement in the driveway using my poor eyesight.
I did an official measurement from the opposite end that should meet the required standards of CL
fortytwo is correct.

Cargo area floor space dimensions?
Hi everyone - This is my first time posting in here, but I've been surfing around for a while. There's a wealth of information here and I'm now considering buying a used GX460. I was wondering if someone could post floor dimensions the the GX460 cargo/trunk area. Specifically the width and the depth from the 2nd row seats to the end of the trunk. I'm trying to compare the floor space of GX460 vs. MDX. I like the idea of a GX460 better but I think it has less floor space compared to the MDX. Thanks in advanced for your help!

Advanced
I've got both a 2011 GX and 2011 MDX, and they're about the same. Not sure about the current-gen MDX. The GX floor is a little higher than the MDX so it's a little less convenient, or sometimes a little more convenient. The side-hinged door vs traditional hatch is a bigger concern IMO. I really like the door personally.
You should drive both as they are completely different on the road.

Cargo Capacity Specs all over the place
Looking at a lot of reviews I see some state in the 60 something square feet for cargo space and Lexus website says 64.7 cu ft
http://www.lexus.com/models/GX/specifications
Obviously not with all seats down though... here are specs for my '12 with almost 92 cu feet with all seats down. Actually more than my old '96 Explorer.
https://pressroom.toyota.com/release...+info.download
Then starting with 2014 they started saying 64.7 cu ft
https://pressroom.toyota.com/release...specs.download
Why the reluctance to quote space with 2 & 3rd row down?
