I can tell you based on my searches, it'll be a while before that happens. The ones in decent condition and with decent mileage seem to be holding steady in price (or very slowly decreasing).

Decent GX470's or 120 LC's could be bought all day for 20k though.

+1

You will have to wait a lot longer and/or be willing to buy one with well over 100k miles. The clean, no stories vehicles near $20k have mileage in the 130k, 150k range.

Just wanted to give an update on my progress.

I ended up walking away on the 2010 GX since the seller and I were not able to hammer out a price that satisfied us both.

It took a while but I found a clean 2011 Premium ($34k, MA ttl included) and jumped on it last week. I wasn't able to clearly identify the specific packages it came with, but these are the options listed on the build sheet. I take delivery later this week:

-1 owner, Lexus dealer serviced (lots of alignments it seems)
-L/Certified
-60k miles
-Not as much rust on the underside as other GX's I've seen
-No passenger airbag recall (yet?)
-Navi/ML
-AFS
-Wide-view Front and Side Monitor/PCS system with Driver Attention Monitor
-Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
-Lane departure alert
-Intelligent high-beam head lamps
-Crawl Control
-Tonneau cover
-Preferred Accessory Package: Cargo (not sure what that means since the tonneau cover was listed separately.)

Pics to follow!

That price isn't fantastic, but you did get the rare driver support package, which I would have paid a premium for had one been available when I got my GX. That would be the radar cruise control, crawl control, lane departure alert, auto high beams, front/side monitors, and PCS.

The preferred accessory package would have included a cargo net and cargo area floor mat. I can't remember if it comes with anything else but I thought the tonneau cover was part of it as well.

Yeah, not fantastic by any means. We knew we had to pay a bit of a premium for a truck with the L/Cert and desired options.

Congrats!

The Certified warranty is very nice. With $34k including TT&L I think you did very well given the mileage, one owner, and certified warranty. I bought my 2011 premium earlier this year for a little less but with more miles and no certified warranty. Mine was actually a CPO car but I am the third owner Also yours looks like it's completely loaded with radar cruise and crawl control.

Your 2011 GX will be subject to the recall but since you're not in the southern region it won't be due for awhile and you should be able to avoid waiting on a new airbag.

In Atlanta prices range for 2011 to 2013s between 28500 to the 40s. All mileage and certified dependent.
Was able to get a certified 2013 with 60,000 miles on this week for just above $34k -- base with comfort plus and convenience package, nav, remote start, 1 owner.

Was hoping for less miles, but less miles = more money!
