Default Automatic relock function

Dear members, hi everybody.
My 14 gx automatic relock function suddenly stopped working...i did not change the setting of this function and it was working verywell last days so that when i get out from the car with my electronic key in my pocket, then the car automatically relocks after 30 second, but since yesterday no more this function is working... I thought the battery of the electronic key is low, i changed it but nothing happened. Can any body help?
Regards

Dear friend, thanks for your fast reply.
I know that i can go to settings and solve the issue, but , i am wondering, why my car lost the setting? Is there any electronical problem with it?
Regards

OP, confused regarding your initial statement:

when i get out from the car with my electronic key in my pocket,
then the car automatically relocks after 30 second

The only relock function I am familiar with is when you unlock from the fob and fail to open
any door within the default 60 seconds it will then relock.

Are you sure that the car was ever really relocking as a result of you just walking away?

Dear,
When i turn off the engine and get out the car with the key in my hand, i tried to move for more than 10 meters away from the car but despite that, the car auto lock function did not happen.
May be i am wrong and there is no such function

no car i know autolocks the car when you step out.
you have to hit the keyfob.
if you unlock with keyfob and dont open the doors, it autolocks itself within 1 minute or so.

Actually I know of two that did, and may still (not sure of that though). Corvette came out with it on the C6s that were new for 2005, and Cadillac with the 2008 CTS. You just walked away from the car. But I agree that what the OP is asking is exactly what was explained by mcomer.

I remember my father had a Corvette around that time. When he walked away or walked towards the car the horn would honk. It was obnoxious when hanging out in the driveway or his business parking lot with constant honking.

The horn could be disabled and mine always were. I had four Corvettes and a CTS with that feature.

It's a setting that you can disable, I had it on my C6 but I haven't seen it on my C7 but it's probably there.

My father's 1995 corvette had that feature. It was kinda nice. If you were washing the car or something you would just put the fob in the car so it wouldn't lock if you stepped away from it out of range.

I didn't realize you could lock the car this way. I thought you could only unlock the car with that.

Reaching through the handle unlocks, touching the recessed dimple locks.
What feels comfortable but does not work is reaching through AND touching the spot...
