Tecman...

Did they take into consideration your wheel adapters when they did the balancing?
How bad is the vibration @ 60MPH? Is the vibration noticeable at other speeds?
Did you have uneven treadwear when u replaced your tires? Could the vibration be
linked to the leaning issue?

The wheel adapters are new, the vibration is old. 60 mph is annoying and is consistent every time I have the wheels balanced and only at 60 mph give or take a few. I have a base, so no air suspension for the lean. Tread wear has always been great.

Nice flush fender, can you take more close to the fender from the top down or from the front to back pics? I want to see how flush with that offset on the wheels, it can help me for my next wheels upgrade, thanks

On my 16 GX460, Modena wheels Diamond edition were originally polished metal, had the wheels Powder Coated

Size: 22X9.5"
+30MM OFFSET

Lexus domed gel center caps...

285/40-22 Yokohama Parada Spec-x :2

Concave wheels look flush & ride excellent (with the right place/person balancing them)

Koolfella...

Your Modena diamond edition wheels are very nice. How much did you paid
for them? Do they have 24" wheels available? Any rubbing issues? Where
did you get the custom Lexus center caps?

Thx... Well I have a friend who is the owner of a local mod shop who's worked on all of my vehicles for years & he was telling me about some wheel venders on the west coast, a good deal, etc & this wheel was one of them... Price after powder coated & other little details... A little under $3500 with tires... Called & spoke with my friend & there is no 24's but said there another wheel that resembles mine in 24" close to my color of wheel... I was thinking about selling mine & possible switching wheels, but who knows...

No vibration thought I would have to use spacers or possible do some modifing but didn't have to... Had spacers put them on but they sucked straight ***!!!! When the GX was on the lift it appears like the wheels want to rub but once wheels were bolted on the car/ground everything was A OK & have had no issues...

I am very **** retentive about the way my vehicles drive especially @ high speeds since I stay around 70 mph & above... So defiantly no vibration!!!

The Lexus gel center caps were made in the UK with a company from the net but they don't make them anymore....

I have a question for you... May I ask why 24's..?

Koolfella...

I'm old school. I prefer the 24" wheels bc they make the GX460 an inch higher on ground
clearance and fill the wheel well nicely.

I'm confused...
Your wheels didn't require spacers however you did try to add spacers but
they sucked how?

What type of balancing did you do on your 22" wheels to prevent the vibration?

What is the price of the other type of wheels in 24"?

Originally we thought the GX might need the spacers because of the 9.5 width & possible offset...

Felt extreme vibration @ 50-60 & above then we figured out the cause was the spaces... Did some serious measuring of all sizes, offset, Suspension/struts etc... & realized we were good... Trial by fire kinda sorta...

Balance is called a road force balance with the reg free weights, not the ones that can clip to the back / in the groove of the wheels like the factory tires... Not sure of the price I'm sure I'll talk to my friend by Monday & I'll send ya a PM...

Default Picked up some 20in reps

After over a year determining what look I wanted for my GX I'm happy to say I found the size and offset I was after. 20x8 (+30)
reps with BFG 275/55/20 ATs and Spidertrax spacers.. Rides awesome, better than the stickers comfort and noise-wise..

Very nice stock looking wheels - they turned out to be great looking at 20"! I was wondering why Lexus didn't have a 20" wheel option until I replaced mine and I am glad I did because I am enjoying a soft but less body roll fell when doing high speed turns. 'Almost bought exact same set of wheels actually, but I opted get something different. When I swapped my OEM wheels to the new one, I am glad I went forged because the stock wheels and tires felt real heavy when compared to my new ones. I am actually getting better mpg now.

Wow SurfaceGuy, those look like they were designed for the GX. I love that look. What brand and model of wheel are those?
