Default New Wheels Mounted

Went with 20x9 MB Vortex in Matte Black. I like the concave design and it reminds me of the 80 Series Landcruiser but larger! Did 285/50/20 Nitto Terra Grapplers

Nice! Looks great! Is this on stock height or did you also lift your GX? Also, any rubbing on turns/bumps, etc.?

Stock height. It s a Luxury. No real rubbing. There was a little lug that hold the inside of the front mud flaps that the tire grazed at full lock. I literally pressed hard on that part to create a hair more space and no more rubbing. Any bigger and there would have been real rubbing.

Thanks Evoking - good to hear. Do you know if this package is heavier than stock setup? Also, how'd you handle your spare tire? From what I understand, with our AWD system, you have to ensure that all 4 tires share the same diameter. I could be wrong but thought I read that somewhere in this forum.

That is true for the most part, but you can use it to go a short distance to get a tire replaced or repaired. Would not be good to drive long distances on.

Saweeet! That makes your GX look like a truck, very cool.
What offset were those wheels?

Personally, I think that your setup really looks great. The aggressive tread on the tires, and matte black look especially good with the color of your GX.

Are you from the DFW area? I think I saw your GX at last week's Cars & Coffee.

Yes that was me. Wife and baby were in it. I took Huracan!

Regarding the center cap I would also want a flat center cap IF it didn't have off road rugged intentions. I.e a Range Rover since most people make them pure on road cars. But most real truck wheels have the big center cap. I think this is in keeping with the character.

Regarding weight I was told around 28-30 lbs.

Ride feels very good. Not really noticeable change at all. It is a smidgen louder but not like a mud tire. For example wife didn't notice it was louder. Only I dos because I was expecting it to be. LOL
