Man, that sucks. Hope you're ok. That looks like frame damage.
Atleast you've video evidence that van ran a red light. Best of luck with the claim.

I don't know about about frame damage, but I'd guess the entire front end is toast: wheel, axle, diff, steering, suspension. Plus all the left side body panels except the rear quarter, the hood, front clip, headlight, supporting braces - lots of stuff. It would be interesting to know if the damage made it up to the A pillar and tweaked the shape/alignment there. At that point I'd be done with it....

Did any airbags deploy? I didn't notice any in your pics.

Ouch. Most importantly hopefully you're not hurt.

It's tough to say what the adjuster is going to come up with. Even if there is frame damage, there is a chance that the insurance company will pay for the repair because the vehicle cost is higher than the repair.

Keep in mind that not all adjusters determine damage equally. Some are adamant about repairs while other will write a car off without even looking at it.

What insurance company are you with?

I bought the cobra CDR 840 from Costco store, it was on sale for $84.99, therefore I grab two, it look like it has a good review on them I haven't watch my own clip yet, but the bad thing was it captured the semi truck blow the trailer tire's on the front of me when driving 70 mph, and I got some debris from that tire hit my windshield and it gave my few tiny chips on the windshield

Looks like more than $8K to me....

If it is leased through Lexus Financial, they require GAP coverage and is included in the monthly payment (I would get it anyway).

Most insurance companies will total it out once the cost of repairs gets to 75-80% of NADA value. At least that was what State Farm told me when my 2008 GS was totaled.

About 11k in repairs so far, still waiting.

Anyone know how much a GX 2015 w/ driver support and 5k miles might've been worth? I'm going to pursue a diminished value claim

GAP isn't required I bought the car outright
