Need to buy Yakima mounts for my Big Powderhound carriers and Yakima doesn't list which mounts I can use on the GX460. I am trying to avoid the universal mighty mounts.
Found a list saying that the 10V mighty mount fits on a GX470. Wondering if those would work for the 460 as well.
Searched on the forum and can't find.

I used the Grab Rail system, which is supposed to be universal for factory rails. Just make sure to install the cross bar before tightening the Grab Rails down; otherwise they will slip.

Looking at the Yakima website, it looks like the mounts that come with the big powderhound is compatible with factory style crossbars.

I already have the lexus crossbars installed, so an extra crossbar system is not desired.

My big powderhound is almost 10 years old. At that time it only came with one set of mounts, in my case round.
However, last week I bought the universal mighty mounts anyway, since I wasn't able to find dedicated ones anywhere and the universals gave extra height, which was good for snowboard bindings.
I reversed the bolts/***** on the mount, so I was able to put locks on the top of the bolts. See the attached photos.
Everything worked out.
