Ecru or Sepia?
I'm getting ready to buy a GX460 premium this week and am struggling with color choices. The three I'm looking at are black with sepia interior, gray with sepia interior and gray with ecru interior. Of those three, what do you all think is the best combination? My concern with the sepia is that I think it might look a little muddy or dark (haven't seen it in person) and after seeing the ecru in person, it seems extremely light. Thoughts?

Once I saw it in person, the Sepia had too much red/pink in it for me. I really liked Ecru, but on a test drive my shoe marked the door panel which reminded me how hard it would be to keep clean w/2 kids. So, I went with black which looks really good with lighter stitching, and am happy. We'll see how it is in Texas summer heat, but I have the seat heater/cooler.

Not considering any other factors besides initial looks, out of your choices I would take the Gray with Ecru interior. Combo looks great. Big downside is if you don't keep up with maintenance on the ecru it will show quickly (discolorations, stains).

Previously, I had the Ecru in an RX. The only problem I had was keeping the light carpet clean. In the GX, you won't have this issue since the carpet is fairly dark. I really like the look of the Ecru. The sepia looks good too though.
Definitely listen to the folks that have Ecru about keeping it clean. The Sepia seems to be a good comination of good looks, with little worry about getting dirty.

I have the 2014 GX460 Luxury in Black with Sepia interior AND the 2006 GX470 in Cypress Green with Ecru interior. I LOVE the Sepia so much more than the Ecru interior. The Sepia is a really classic brown (not red at all) and looks great (after one year). The Ecru got blue jeans stains almost immediately and I have to clean it often. I also really just love the sepia color. My next car after this one (in two years) will have sepia....love it so much. I HATE the black exterior of my GX. It looks nice for about 5 minutes after I wash it, period. It shows tons of dust all the time and every time it rains or I drive near sprinkler systems the white water droplet stains are all over the car. I will NEVER get another black car!

I have Ecru interior with black exterior. I bought my 460 used, the second row seatbelt straps were filthy. I would recommend Scotchgard on the seatbelt straps if you choose this color.
Kids and adults with dirty hands cause a build up of filth that shows easily.
This is my third black car, yes it is frustrating to maintain black, but I still prefer the color.
It looks great on overcast weather days and in the shade on sunny days.

I have Claret Mica with Ecru. Although is gets dirty easily I am very happy with that choice. A love how light it is. I just keep some leather cleaner nearby and give it a quick clean once a week. Takes 2 minutes. Go with what you feel the best in. JMO.
Tecman thanks for the scotchgard reminder. Forgot to do that.
