Default NEW GS460 Luxury

I also purchased a new GX 460 Luxury yesterday. Moved over from an LS460AWD, which no longer met my needs. It is Starfire Pearl with Ecru interior. Has everything except the Support Package. Bought it right off of the delivery truck. Got a good deal from Sheehy Lexus of Annapolis, Maryland. The new Gen 8 navigation and electronics will take a while to figure out. The only thing I did not care for was the fact they replaced the sunglass holder with a drop down wide angle mirror so you can look at the people who may be in the back seats and maybe to monitor the kids, if you have any. Having the full package front guard on the vehicle next week. Had it on my LS460 and when I sold it yesterday the front of the vehicle was chip and scratch free.

Valley,

Congrats on the 2015 Luxury. I have the same vehicle (Luxury, but different colors, and I have the Drivers Support Package). I think you will be thrilled with the Luxury GX.

The good news is that the drop down wide angle mirror also is a sunglass holder. Once you press the button and see the wide angle mirror, gently pull it down further, and the sunglass holder becomes accessable.

Congrats on the new ride. However, can you update the title of this thread? It currently says "NEW GS460 Luxury." Thanks.

Congratz Valley!

And thanks for bringing up the sunglasses! I just spent 10 minutes fiddling with it in the cold car, gave up, and came up to see dm's answer! Guess it might be time for me to actually read the manual.

Congrats to both of you!

Yep, you will want to spend some time reading the manual, coming from what was essentially the first generation GX to this one you will find lots if differences! Most are good, enjoy!!
