Is it possible to play a video DVD in the ML front unit? I tried to put a DVD in the disc slot but it did not recognize it. Thanks in advance.

Yeah you can play in the front NAV unit if you have ML system, if you are saying it did not recognize your disc is could be a disc defective or your NAV is not has ML system to able read the DVD disc? Me myself and some other member here have own the GX with ML system and we can play video while it in motion

I definitely have the ML system and I believe the disc was good. I will try to play another disc and report back.

Make sure the DvD disc you try to play is Region 1 or Region All. US Spec GX with ML only can play Region 1 & All disc.

Also be certain to set the parking brake. Not just the transmission in Park.

Good point. Otherwise, you will only hear the audio, not movie display.

Actually 7 months (got it back in February) but I agree...far too long :-) ....it kept getting pushed back with other mods and vehicle maintenance on the GX and a few other vehicles.
