Alright guys,

I'm looking to purchase a 2010-2012 GX460 very soon. I know this is a very subjective question, but which available options would you recommend? I'd hate to get the truck and then later find out about a cool option I should have researched better!

This will be for my wife, and will be used as a mall crawler (initially). Ideally, the options I want it to have are HID's and Mark Levinson. I don't know how useful AHC / AVS will be.

One other very important question:

* I've noticed that some GX460's don't have the ceiling vents for the rear passengers. Is this an option that I've overlooked? I definitely need the vents in the rear.

I would suggest getting a GX Premium (mine is a 2012) - it has the full complement of features such as ML, drive selector (sport or comfort), semi aniline leather, and climate control for 2nd row passengers. I went out to the garage to check and there are two vents (one above each back door) in the 2nd row and two (one above each window) in what is the third row when you have this seats up. In looking recently at what cars like mine are selling for there wasn't a huge difference between premium and non (at least here in California).
