Default Color choice: show me your claret/ecru, claret/black, and silver/black GX 460

We are down to color choices. I'd love to see real world photos of people's GXs to narrow down the choice. Thanks everyone!

Yep - We pulled the trigger last night on the claret/ecru luxury model. Found the one we liked in terms of options. I was very torn on the color combo.

I just updated my signature - you are quick!

Interestingly enough, the GX seems to be selling quite well locally. I looked at several at the local dealer and each time I went back in to look again, they were sold.

My dealer can’t keep them in stock. They sell quickly and he could sell more if he could get the allocation. They are a pretty unique product in the marketplace being body-on-frame with a V8, very good towing rating and the luxury, reliability and service of Lexus behind them. Vehicles like this are increasingly rare due to CAFE regulations . The GM versions (Suburban, Tahoe, Escalade) had terrible consumer reports ratings last week. There is nothing like this available from any European manufacturer. Its the GX460 or a Ford Expedition/Lincoln Navigator in this little corner of the market.

They sure do. I was shocked how many my dealer sold during the 3 weeks I was shopping for a car. He had a used 2015 GX lux that was loaded and immaculate with 14k miles when I made my first appt to do a test drive. That was Thursday. I scheduled an appt to bring my other half back Sat am since I wanted to make an offer and it was gone! He sold 3 more that I was looking at.

It made me feel better about buying the car given the high degree of interest in the market.

We also test drove a loaded VW Touraeg TDI diesel but the dealer couldn't be bothered to give me a "best price" other than MSRP so I walked away. I was really unimpressed with the VW dealer experience. After getting the Lexus treatment, I couldn't tolerate the VW arrogance and lack of interest in actually elling a car. Their loss...

I can't wait to get my nex GX!

Someone (with Toyota or Lexus or somebody) mentioned that the GX is VERY profitable for Lexus. I don't see them discontinuing this model at all...contrary to a lot of other people.

It does sell very well. All the dealers I spoke with last October kept telling me they didn't have any on their lot and the ones in transit were already sold.
