Default New to us 2011 GX

Upgraded our 2009 IS350 since I will be a first time father this August. Big difference in ride, but I love it. The GX is actually for my wife. We purchased it out if state, so I had opportunity for 250 mile road trip on day with a mix of rain.

Car feels bigger than it actually is...a trait I like, but one that my wife will have to get used to after her IS350. I have F250 and I am used to larger vehicles.

We loved the ride! I am looking to upgrade/change the wheels. Our GX460 is black on black...anyone post some pics of yours? I am not looking to really go up in size, but change the look. Strongly Considering The F sport rims from sewell...stock size @$275 with no club lexus discount.

Thanks in advance
BT

and there is a $50 CL discount. I just paid $229.60 per wheel from them. You only need one of the lug nut wheel packages. The pic only shows 12 lug nuts but the other ones are in there as well. And you can store the wheel lock sockets that come with them in the tool kit in the back door.

Don't get aftermarket 18 inch wheels. Just don't, it's a man rule.

I disagree. The larger sidewall lends itself to a better ride and still lets you go over things/off road if needed. The F sports look good and they are a true lexus product without being or looking aftermarket.

Anyway, if we were following man rules we would have never got this car in the first place. These are (really nice) wife cars but we have to drive them sometimes so they still need to look good.

Hahaha so true. I just can't fathom buying 18 inch wheels at OEM prices to replace my current 18 inch oem wheels. You can still get a nice sidewall on 20s without looking like pimp gator.
