My 2010 GX 460 How much can the cargo area carry in weight.
I am wanting to carry two 25 gal water containers of water in the back weighting about 400 lb.
Will the back support that much weight??
I have a 1997 Toyota 4runner that it works just fine, but it is all steel back there.

You'll be fine, I have carried much much more than that in the back of mine. I carried 1200 pounds of tile plus bags of mud for the tile work, it sagged in the rear but it did it just fine.

Thanks for the info, It just did not look as strong as the 4runner.

I have carried a lot of weight in my last few cars and SUVs and it has caused a sag in the long term. I have used spacers in between the spring to bring the rear up. I expect I will evientually have the same problem with my GX. I regreat not buying the air ride model but choices were limited in my area buying used with the color I wanted.
