No it doesn't come with a smart key and I think my dealer said it can't be programmed on the new GX. Check with your dealer to make sure, but it doesn't come with the Luxury package.

I have the Key Card for my GX460. I bought it from Sewell and had my Dealer install it.

GX 460 key fob

Hi, has anybody had any experience buying a used key fob from ebay and getting it programmed. I now only have 1 fob and would like to get an extra. Only problem...I live in an area with no Lexus dealer and no locksmiths that reprogram fobs. There is only a Toyota dealer. Thanks AV

I also have one fob and would like to get an additional one as well.
I don't recall anyone here having the knowledge to do it alone.

Maybe this app is capable of that? But I have an iPhone.

Hi guys, unfortunately, Carista is not able to reprogram key fobs as of now. We're looking into adding that as a feature in a future version of the app.
