Let me give you a summarized list:
1.) Replaced driver's side seat bottom--thin spot in leather, not a big deal
2.) VSA light was on. Determined power steering problem, replaced power steering module
3.) Discovered lift gate issue, replaced power lift gate control module
4.) VSA again. Forward Collision Warning would say to brake for no reason. The car was "lurching" forward when accelerating from stoplights. My wife said it was violent and felt like she was being rear ended. They replaced the VSA module
5.) Headlight had condensation in it. They replaced and not a big deal
The lurching forward was my main concern. The VSA Vehicle Stability Assistance deals with the braking on the car and what my wife was feeling was a braking malfunction. What I viewed as a serious safety concern.
Acura didn't see it that way. I went all the way up to the executive vice president asking them to replace the car or purchase it back from me. They refused and just said that they would continue repairing it. I was not willing to risk the safety of my family on this car.
When we traded we had 6,000 miles on it.
I lost about $7,000 in this deal, so I hope to deter enough people from buying an Acura until I feel like I have re-cooped my money.
DON'T BUY ACURA.

Nice info and that sucks. I have 3 Acuras under my belt and was a little concerned with the MDX redesign . Please post a new thread with your info if you want your information to be known, otherwise it may fade away in this thread.
