Lightbulb Factory installed trailer hitch?

I have a 2014 GX 460 on order - one of the items included is a factory installed trailer hitch. Does anyone have a picture of what the installed trailer hitch looks like?

i believe the tow hitch is installed at the port, not the factory.
its cheaper to get it from sewell and install yourself.

As soon as I get my delivery date nailed down, I will be ordering from Sewell and installing myself.

What about trailer brake control, is this integrated with the GX?

Never mind folks, found an older post by Koz noting where the connector is located under the dash

The 14 has "trailer sway control" available.

If you have any mechanical ability at all, DON"T get the hitch installed from your dealer. Rather, if you search the internet, you can find an OEM hitch for 1/2 the price that your dealer will charge and you can easily put it on in about 15 minutes.

Things like hitches, etc. are ADDITIONAL PROFIT for the dealer.

Default New '14 owner here! Tow hitch question??

Glad to finally be a part of the Lexus family. Looking forward to many years of trouble free ownership (hopefully) and high resale value!

Wife had a 2005 4runner V8 and always wanted the Lexus. We were looking used at first but in our area the prices are up there for one with decently low miles and for having the new Nav and re-design leasing new seemed the better value.

Got a '14 Black Onyx / Black Nuluxe interior with the Nav and blind spot package. We looked at a premium but was not a fan of the leather that comes with the premium, they added some rough bump things to the bolters (apparently helps with cracking) but it looks awful and the NuLuxe actually feels and looks nicer. The only thing i'm not happy about is missing the heated seats but wasn't going to pay almost $3k more just to get those. The thing drives very similar to the 4runner, just more refined and less noisy. I can tell the new 4.6 engine has a few more top end horses but off the line torque actually seemed like more in the 4runner with the old 4.7, but the GX is also 1,000 more lbs from what I understand.

Tow hitch - ours didn't come with it stock but looks like it can be bought for $300-350. Has anyone installed this themselves or would you only recommend having the dealer do it?

Default Sewell Lexus Parts.

Go that site and register with your CL user name, and you will be happy with the price and shipping. If you are handy with a wrench and don't mind working on your back for a couple of hours, I'm sure you can accomplish it. I'll be doing mine in two weeks.

Has anyone done the install yet?

My hitch arrives Thursday and I can't decide if I should take it to a hitch shop and have them do the install.

I ordered mine from OEM Lexus Parts because the price was less than Sewell. I am in Texas so I have to pay tax at Sewell.
