Got word yesterday that the new shipment of GX's is currently passing customs processing at the port so I will most likely be able to pick up my new GX 460 next week! Very cyked.

I am getting a GX 460 Luxury in Black with Sepia interior. It also will have the ML Premium Audio, RSES, Exhaust Tip and Cargo Mat, Cargo net, Wheel locks and key glove and door edge guards.

I love my 2006 GX 470 (Cypress Pearl/Ecru) and hope that this truck is just a comfortable and reliable. Still haven't decided if I will sell or hold onto my '06 but I am thinking I will keep it for a few months and think on it.

Congrats. The options you selected are the exact one's I have on my 2012. I had a 2008 GX470 and find the GX460 seats to be more comfortable. Let us know your thoughts once you have had some seat time in the new one.

I wish that it came in a nice shade of green! I waited to get a new one for 8+ years only because I was hoping for the green to come back. I also wish they made them in chocolate brown, like Mercedes. I like colors that not everyone else has. I looked into the Fire Agate but the dealer said I would have to special order it and it would take much longer to get. Since I'm leasing this one, I can live with Black for 3 years.

You mentioned your shipment at JAX. Jax is also a prominent video game character/fighter in Mortal Kombat II as is Kitana. It's a geek thing. A little off topic but I of course found it amusing.

A nice hunter green with a tan interior sounds lovely too.

Have you seen the peridot mica dark green that was offered for 2010 GX460's? I would never buy one but someone in my neighborhood has one and it is a really nice color that seems to have some gold in it when the light hits it. It was replaced with fire agate that also looks pretty cool.

Just got home with my new GX '14. It is raining here which bummed me out (I never got
To see the car dry) but it handles really well in the rain and is really comfortable. Tomorrow I will explore it further.

One thing that has pissed me off about the new '14, the tool box is half empty. I brought it back to the dealer today and they said that all the new '14 have the half empty tool box! It is missing all three wrenches and two other things (that my '06 has). Dealer swears that that is how they come now...

Also, it bugs me that there is a chain hanging down from the spare under the truck. Dealer also says that is normal for new '14.
