Default Built-in sunglasses holder after all?

I thought the GX had no built-in sunglasses holder and was annoyed that they put the conversation mirror in its "place".....

Until I saw this video! Skip ahead to the 5:00 mark. Who knew? Certainly not my salesman!

Well, I'm taking delivery of mine next weekend, and this is something I was wondering about.

Same thing on my 2012. It's far from the best out there but it does work, I keep saying I'm going to grind the tabs off so it goes all the way down on its own instead of having to pull it but I haven't gotten around to it as of yet.

that was going to be my next question, for those that use it, how is the durability?

So far mine has been good, larger sunglasses are difficult to get in there. If you don't plan on using the rear seat mirror you'll probably want to do what I'll eventally do and cut off the little tabs the prevent it from opening all the way.
