how much did you end up buying the car for? And which dealer?

i would really love to get the driver assist as well but the price is almost 15k more for it.

What numbers are you getting now?

1) Shipping open carrier $800-1000. Closed carrier more so towads $1500-2k
2) You can drive it if you like, but lets be frank here unless your loosing out on discount differential of 10-15% (MSRP vs what the east coast was paying back in spring). its hard to justify the cost.
3) There of course exceptions to this rule, so YMMV

Just bought a 2016 White Premium with my mom in Houston. Sticker was 57,500, and every dealer I talked to via email was willing to do 5k off msrp. We ended up paying right at 50k+TTL. She was coming from a 4th gen v8 4runner limited, so we cross shopped a new limited 4Runner as well, but they were only coming off those 3500-4000k max and they were much harder to find exactly what we wanted.

Could you please share your dealer name and location in Houston? I'm taking my sister in law tomorrow to buy one and am not looking forward to the long wait and negotiations Thanks!!! PMs welcome also.

Why are you walking in for negotiations? Biggest waste of time. Go in, take your SIL for a tour of the GX, thorough test drive and get some rudimentary numbers to see where the dealer is at. Then build your GX to your liking, scour the lots on the web and email away and begin negotiations. Once your in the ballpark, go in with said email exchange, review the docs, and close and drive off.

Blackhalo, can you please share the dealer name/saleman info? We are looking for a similar deal. Thanks.

Thanks for the information Blackhalo. I picked up my new GX yesterday and it was the easiest transaction I've ever made. Definitely worth the drive from DFW to Houston

I purchased mine from Sterling McCall and it was the easiest process ever. I was impressed from beginning to end with their customer service and willingness to help.

Hi Blackhalo I am looking to buy the same exact car csb you please give me the name of your sales person and dealer? Frommy understanding on a GX Lease Lexus takes care of the sales tax as well but that's only if you lease it.
