Those of you who have sat in/test driven a 2014, how is the seat comfort compared to the 2013 and previous years?

Any changes in design and comfort? At the very least there appears to be different graining on the Premium trim level...

I haven't driven or seen the seats, but only the Luxury model has the same seats, semi aniline as the previous GX 460. I can tell you, the semi aniline leather is softer than the leather Lexus is using in the 2014 premium. The Nu Luxe is pleather in the base model.

I ask because I test drove a 2014 4Runner Limited this weekend, and my first impression was that the seats were uncomfortable. I drove a 2013 GX460, which had firm but comfortable seats.

Looking at pictures of the 2014 GX460 seats (non-Luxury), it appears they use the same controls, same memory module, and overall basic shape as the 4Runner Limited seats. I wonder what else they share? Hopefully not much, I hope the 2014 GX seats are just as comfortable as the 2013 model.

I'm sure the luxury model will be. The seats in my GX are more comfortable than the seats in my LS 460. What model GX 460 are you looking for? I don't know if you want to travel for one, but the dealer in Springfield, MO has 2 white ones on the way, they might be there by now. PM me if you want his cell #
