That is awesome news to me. When checking out 2013 models, I was unimpressed with the power fold third row feature. Looked like something that could easily malfunction and be expensive to repair.
Really like what they are doing here with the GX/Premium/Luxury models. The premium has every feature I want, without having to add options and accessories. No expensive features included in this package helps keep the pricetag reasonable.
Can't wait to pull the trigger on one of these!

I guess you have never driven a GX with the wide-view monitoring system (especially off-road)! The auto (can automatically come on at 5 mph) multi screen monitoring system works great. The front camera can see a complete 180 degrees without even entering the street coming out of a driveway, garage or intersection. The side camera can see accurately to less than an inch. It is worth its weight in gold when off-road or maneuvering when towing.

It is a bit much and when I was ordering my 2012 the package they had at the time was radar cruise/PCS/wide view monitoring and crawl control and the invoice on that package was about $2k which isn't that much. In 2013 they changed the packages and it seems like it was more expensive. If I had to do it all over again I probably would have added that package.

well after much deliberation, i ve finally decided not to trade in my 10 gx for a 14 gx.
heres why.
love my AFS headlights at nite. not available on 14 GX.
its pretty much the same thing.
dont feel like haggling with dealer.
less than 20k miles on my gx still and no issues.
dont want to take a $20 grand hit. Thats a whole another car i could buy!
GX will be discontinued? another $5-10K hit.
better angles on front and rear bumpers - dont want to scrape the bottom of the bumpers on the 14 GX.
still many features not available on new GX. Lexus wake up!
from $ standpoint, it makes no sense.
hopefully helpful for others deliberating as well
