Is that on a 2012 or 2013? $2.2k below invoice is a great deal! On my GX, $6k below MSRP was still over invoice. $2.2k below invoice would have been $8.8k under MSRP.

it is a 2013 base model. The invoice is 56xxx, the MSRP is close to 60k. what I got was below 54k. it is not exactly 8.8k under MSRP as you mentioned.

I appreciate all the advice and words of wisdom from those of you who have responded to my posts the past couple of weeks. I just agreed to terms on a 2013 black on black and take delivery next Friday!

What price did you get?

I've actually decided to come back to the GX and will wait for the front LED lighting job (hopefully) similar to the IS...in the 2014. But we shall see.

Wishful thinking, but hope they bump up the HP to 325 at least. And hopefully, they won't go the crossover route. Actually, if they do, it might improve the resale value since there will be few truck-like SUVs out there.

I have dealt with dealer invoice before.... so I just made a random offer for $1500 over invoice for 13GXPrem and dealer accepted. Now I will ask for copy of invoice, claimed to be $59,961. I believe that includes Dest Fee and Ad Fees totalling around $1,800. I know that these "costs" are not always real costs to dealers through mfg rebate and incentives.... or maybe I'll grind him some more? Any quick help on definition of "Invoice"??

You can check for invoice on edmunds.com. I don't think any dealer will give you their
hold back money on any vehicle.

Default deals

it is a good idea to ask for some accessories AFTER you negotiated the price. Ask for cross bars, all weather mats, cargo mat&net, cargo cover or even next size wheels. Especially if you need them, they are costly!! I heard dealers even take something from other cars they sell in order to sell you this one. In Base model after few weeks of ownership I am missing a better sound system (it sucks) and HID lights (not only cuz of looks, I sometimes worried if the lights are on at all – how bad they are). But I got 7.5k off MSRP on 2012 model. Love KDSS and blutooth))) So make sure you are buying what you like!!!

2019 GX Premium with Captains chairs/tow package for $50,636 on June 27th. MSRP was $58,807. My guess it should be better than that with the 2020 out soon. From what I have read here, 15% off MSRP would be my target with some thought at getting as much as 20%.

Good job on reviving a 6 year old thread.
