I am considering the pre-collision package (PCS) with driver's attention and lane departure alert. Folks here that have this on their trucks, is this option worth the wait and the money? Also, do most get this with the wide view/side cameras?

Another general question to the people who special ordered the PCS....DId you still negotiate and get a price around invoice when special ordering the PCS? Just want to prepare myself....

I special ordered mine because I wanted specific options and color. I waited almost 4 months (which is the standard for a special order). I feel that when you are spending this kind of money and if you plan to keep the vehicle for a long time, you should not settle for anything less then how you want the vehicle. I (personal opinion) did not feel I needed the safety nannies were not worth that money. If you do not plan on any off-roading or towing, I don't think there is a need for the wide-view or crawl control (they do work great).
