So if you want most reliable car in the USA, buy Lexus. nissan, infinity, toyota ,honda are good cars but they started to use cheap materials to sale them cheaper. But only Lexus is on TOP.

PS. i own 2004 RX 330, 225K miles.
It isn't a poor build done in the U.S., it's poor engineering. Most of the problems I had in the first year were due to software bugs. Afterwards, it was parts failures. The software was written in Germany, and the parts were made in Germany. It's not just the X5 either. Look at where BMW, Audi, and Mercedes show in the quality ratings. The cars are too complicated.

This might be biased coming from a X5 owner but I say go with the X5 lol. Mine has been rock solid since I bought in 07'. IMO, the X5 is nicer in almost every way than the GX, IMO.

Software in this cars are innovative even your PC have software problems.

What about parts in the USA, i think it just fake title saying Made in Germany. In real they are refurbished here or just made in China or Mexico, and what about bmw and benz mechanic here are just more professional than you and me DIY guys.

As i said, all my family still living in Europe, and we have there fords, chevy, cadi, toyota, honda, infinity, but none of them is close to bmw and benz in reliability. But here is different.

Not to stir the pot, but the Land Rover LR4's have been proving itself reliable since over the past couple years. They dont seem to have the bugs they once did.

Yes one of my co worker got his Q7 from Germany. I know that one can get Audi delivery in germany, not sure about BM and Merc if it is allowed or not. He has 0 problems on his Q7 for last 6 years.

That was a pretty good video. It is good to see magazines/critics still get into the off-road abilities suv's built their reputation on when doing a comparo.
