12V DC power outlets?

Really?!! Only ONE 12VDC power outlet on this $60K truck??

We had 3 12VDC outlets on the RX300!

Did I miss an option somewhere?

How many outlets do you think are needed?

If they put one for every seat someone would be complaining there's none on the outside.

At least two.

How many? Well, the first gen RX this replaced had three. IMO, two are bare minimum. The 2nd and 3rd row passengers are always wanting to use iPods, Nintendos, DVD players, etc. Stringing extention wires up to the front console seems rinky-dink.

Just got this beast and there are certain standard features I didn't think to check for. This isn't the only one, but the most flagrent. Cost reduction?

I agree. There should definitely be some in the 2nd row at least. My main gripe at the moment, though is that the 12v outlet and the USB jack are not "hot" (they're off when the car is off). My dealer said he could hotwire them for $172. Yikes! Anyone know how to do this yourself?
