I have a 2010 Premium with rear DVD (Lexus) installed. Almost all DVDs stop playing...just with normal DVD wear and tear no major scratches or gouges or dirt. They play in all my other non-vehicle machines with no problems. Anyone else experiencing this issue?? They have already replaced the first player and the second is actually worse. Also, it will non play and DVDs that I have burned without stopping after about 2 minutes into the movie...again...they play on all my other machines. Thanks!!

When you say Lexus installed DVD, are your referring to the DVD/CD auto-changer that comes with the Mark Levinson premium audio?

Which format do you use to burn your DVD's? The DVD+R format works for me with no problems.

Maybe you can try it in another GX 460 on your dealer's lot.

I would try it in another 460 on the lot to confirm if it works or not! If it does then replace yours again--always a chance you get a bad one!

I am going in this week or next to go through this AGAIN with them.They have no real answer and I have not asked them if they tried it in another vehicle on the lot and am going to do that when I meet with them. I have the Levinson factory installed rear unit. My husband does burn the DVD+Rs so I am glad to know others are having it work. Also as an added bonus to this debacle, after they replaced the unit the USB connection drops my iphone suddenly and will not reconnect until I shut my phone on and off and restart the car. I was told this is coincidence with the unit being replaced and it happening after- yeah right! I never had a problem before. I was told that there are iphone compatibility issues, which were non-existant when I bought the car (and with the original system). I am so frustrated and irritated at all of the issues that should never exist in this caliber of vehicle. I used to recommend the GX to everyone...now I tell them to RUN!!!
