Default Wiper Defroster

I'm wondering how the wiper defroster feature works?

Koz, go to your climate screen, on the bottom right you will see the icon for the heated wipers. Touch it and it will turn green. That turns them on.

On the lower left hand side of the dash is your heated mirror switch as well as your heated steering wheel switch and another switch for your headlight washers..

Hope this helps...

I know where it is, I was wondering how well it works. I'm thinking it will prevent the ice and snow build-up at the base of the windshield when in an extreme snow storm. I've had to get out of the vehicle and clean this area regardless of how high the normal front defroster is turned up (only when snowing hard).

Pray for snow and you can test it out!

I've had similar systems of previous Subaru's and they've always worked flawlessly. They work similar to the defrost lines on the rear window of the car.
