nice
I hope the 2010 model will be cheaper in Canada due to being close to parity again.
2004 Lexus GX (Canada) - $66,800 CDN
2009 Lexus GX (Canada) - $60,550 CDN
2004 Lexus GX (USA) - $45,375 US
2009 Lexus GX (USA) - $47,615 US
Only thing that would make this a little better is that the US price goes up to $50,000 (approx.) and the CANADIAN price falls to like $56,000.
Possible engine specs? (Seeing its suppose to be a 4.6L and only other truck/SUV from Toyota-Lexus that uses that is a Tundra)
4.6 L V8 UR engine 310 hp (231 kW) and 327 lb·ft (443 N·m) (CARB ULEV II certified)

I think he is talking about when you can keep your key fob in your pocket and just walk up and unlock the door and start it without the key----
**Just because you dont see it in the whole one picTURE doesnt mean anything--I bet its an option

the deciding factor for me will be how the drivers seat works for me.
I bought my 07 GX for the drivers seat. I thought the center captains chair arm rest
made a difference especially when towing.
I'll have to see if the console arm rest in the new GX gives the same feeling

Reports suggested that the 2010 GX would appear at a Shanghai event this month...perhaps not, given the overlap with Tokyo's motor show? Perhaps at the LA Auto Show this November.

I am on the waiting list for the first new GX at my dealer and unfortunately I just got a call from the sales manager at my dealer that the GX will no longer be showing up to dealerships in December and it will be January at the earliest. He was not sure why it got pushed back a month and if this meant production to start in January and vehicle showing up in February or production to start in December and vehicle to show up in January.
My guess is that the GX will debut at the LA Auto Show. I sure hope it shows up before then. I have been checking the web every day in hopes of finding an exterior pic but no luck so far.
