Or Mark Levinson system... I'm with you on hoping that isn't the case. I am neither ready to nor want to deal with crossing the $60k barrier.

The GX may be going upmarket to make room for a crossover to slot between the RX and GX. At least that's what I hope, because there's a huge gap between the $37K RX and the $51K GX now. It's the perfect time for a JX or RX L...

Nice quality pics Cj, thank you.
I will wait to decide until I see it in person, but in some of those shots the GX looks cheap and like a stripped Highlander. The wheel wells look huge relative to the wheels on it, and this is accentuated by the absence of trim around the wheel wells like the current GX has.
Currently I feel excited about the features, lukewarm about the interior and not pleased with the exterior. It looks way too cheap for the prices we are talking about here and not even remotely as stylish as the current GX. I truly hope to feel differently when it's all official and I see it in person. Fingers crossed...

That is one of the nicest angles. Thanks for the pics. IMO, as with the LX 570, this vehicle is conservative on the outside, and with the removal of the body-side cladding, as with other recent Lexus models (e.g. RX), it makes the sides seem taller. Perhaps in person the vehicle will look better, from the pics it seems very much an evolution of the current GX; like the RX there is little stylistic difference between the two. The interior is where the new GX is quite different, and looks more upscale, although perhaps a bit busy and metallic. I like it best with the side chrome strip.
