The valve stem caps on Lexus vehicles seem to be a hot item to steal. Between two vehicles I'm on the last extra cap (from a set of four) I had to buy from Lexus. I knew from the past that you have to tighten the cap with a 10 mm wrench so they could not be removed by hand. I left one hand tight and sure enough it was taken!

I've been thinking about changing the caps to the black plastic ones, since the metal ones are so nice! Thanks for the heads-up!

You may want to try these, they are really nice and there is no way they can steal them.

You have to be careful using different caps on Toyota metal stems. There have been issues with corrosion using other caps and some had to replace the stems/sensors and costs silly money.

Yeah those cheapo caps that rust + snow + salt.... rather go with plastic =)

Sewell has the caps at a good price though, so I bought two extra sets (one for the S2000)
