Sand Dollar Pearl issue
what was that again that made lexus remove the sand dollar pearl color from the gx? I just went to the dealer a few days ago and saw an LX470 with a sand dollar pearl color. Nope it's not a 03 or 02 model, but an 04 model. So why did they remove the sand dollar pearl from the gx, didn't want the gx and lx to have same color so people will buy the lx, or is it that they just felt like removing the sand dollar pearl??????????

My salesman told me that when they added the Blizzard Pearl, they had to eliminate one of the other colors. Per the salesman, the regional sales managers voted to eliminate the Sand Dollar.

ok, if there are adhesion problems, why are they using it on the lx470?? That's a $65k vehicle. They wouldn't put a problematic color on their most expensive SUV. And if they wanted Blizzard Pearl, they should have kept the Sand Dollar Pearl and add the blizzard pearl.

I am sure there were those that liked the color, but I thought the Sand Dollar was a surprisingly ugly color for Lexus to have chosen.
It looked like something you'd see on a Lincoln.
