Default AM/FM Radio Presets

Anyone able to tell me how I might be able to set up some present stations for the radio? Most vehicles it's pretty intuitive, but I'm having trouble with the Gx...

This should be covered in the owners manual.. but what I did was hold the on-screen button down for about 5 seconds.

That is the first thing I tried, but as soon as I let go, it will change the station, but nothing is saved.

So my dad has an 03, and we both got in, and that is exactly what he did.

Then we get in mine, same setup, nav touch screen, and nothing.

I feel pretty stupid here.

i'm in the same boat as you, tried to hold down the station # for a few seconds and it still didn't lock the station. Maybe we didn't hold it down until the beep?

I don't know. I've held the button down for 30 seconds on multiple attempts. I didn't think it would be this difficult.

And the owners manual in my GX shows a completely different head unit, with a CD player. Weird. I thought they would have instructions for all variations of the head unit.

I figured it out pennswoods. Make sure you're on either FM1 or FM2 but NOT FM TYPE Also, there's a separate manual for nav systems which I downloaded from the lexus owners site. Hope this helps!
