Default Coat Hooks?

I recently purchased a 2004 Lexus GX470 and today when wanting to hang my jacket I noticed I don't have any coat hooks? Were they not included or are mine missing? Thanks in advance.

Odd. They're shown on the parts diagram (#8). But I don't have any either. They must have been a mid-production change in 2004.

Do you think I can just purchase and install? Or this had to come done from factory?

Angry

Having looked at the parts diagram again, I believe it's #3 though and since it was an option, that option was not included in our cars. I'm trying to figure out if its just a plug and play piece or not? I would have never guessed that coat hooks were optional on a Lexus model!

You'd have to look under the headliner to see if there's a threaded section in the door frame, or perhaps a plastic plug that will accept a screw.

Just blindly driving a screw into there could have bad or even very-bad results
(bad: No support and it pulls out, leaving you with a damaged $1400 headliner)
(very-bad: the screw goes into the curtain airbag and it fails to inflate in an accident)
