Default Are Stock Shocks Serviceable/Rebuildable?

Wondering if the stock shocks/struts are in any way serviceable and/or able to be rebuilt. I'm wondering because I don't yet want to convert the suspension and lose the electronic dampening. But also don't want to spring for all new OEM squishers.

I think I'd read something about some specific KYB shocks being able to accept a new cartridge, but if the oil can't be refilled or changed, not sure how much difference a cartridge would really make.

Thoughts?
