can you explain? Does the handle make 'click' sounds as you pull it up? Does it prevent the wheels from moving? Does it stay locked in the UP position unless you push the button?

In my 2007 gx470, the handle works - it rachets up and holds the wheels but it won't stay in the UP position. If i let go of the handle, it just drops down. I am looking for a fix too...

I have the same problem, there aren't that many click sounds, but it does grab the brake. Once I let go of the arm, it drops down. Also the button comes back out slowly, I'm going to wd-40 that part and see if it helps any.
