GX470 C1223 C1241 and C1246 codes thrown

GX470 C1223 C1241 and C1246 codes thrown
Car repair shop up the street says the following codes are being thrown - C1223 C1241 and C1246.
They said to replace the Brake Light Switch, but I am not certain that is the issue. Awhile back(maybe 2 months ago) teh VCS off, TRAC and some other lights all lit up. I tracked it back to the gas cap, and tightened it, then took negative battery terminal off for a few minutes, and plugged it back in, then the lights were off and all was good.
Any idea if this brake light switch will help clear all 3 of these codes?
Anything else it would be?

When my VCS, TRAC, and other lights came on, they said faulty brake light switch and replaced it and has been fine since. Don't remember what actual codes were though.
