Then I have a west coast disc for sale. The East coast worked like a charm.

IIRC both disks contain the roads & can find addresses - it's the POI's that are different.

The difference between East & West discs is that each will only have the POIs for that coast (gas stations, etc). The dividing line (if I recall correctly) is the Mississippi River (give or take).

So buy the one where that information would be the most useful.

Yeah they just released the update. I was told "possibly this may be the last nav update for 2007 gx470's" from the dealer. At least I'm good for a couple years now..... went from '31' to '40'. Should be way more accurate.

I just bought east and west newest version off a place I found for about 55 bucks for both. I think they are copies, system updated and is working. Not much difference appearance wise, has the dreaded "I agree" button. Does that sound right to you guys? Or does the latest version not have I Agree on it?It did pick up a fairly newer sub division. So for the money I dont mind if it is copied. If anyone wants the website let me know, ill look it up

My update did away with the 'I agree' button... it added a 'trace route' option and definitely updated the graphics... but I mean, mine had never been updated since 2007..

KillaLax, I have a 2003. What version are you running? Mine is 13.7 I THINK! & U08 rings a bell I would also think your Navy unit has better everything, from graphics to just about everything!
Maybe someone will chime in about the "I agree" button showing up or not with the latest disc version in a 2003.Thanks for letting me know, I am going to look into it! I can return them within 30 days. I mean as far as some of the graphics, like I live near a golf course, I could tell a little bit of difference. I bought them for the price, and to have the last latest version. Another member on here showed me a new interface he found and installed, that has blue tooth, hands free calling, bunch of stuff, and the price was good! After I follow up with him, I will order 1 soon. The price I paid for east and west coast, I thought they would be good to have. I have a dvd copier and DL Dvds, I could make copies. Let me know your version and stuff. I don't remember what I had in there before I put the new 1 in. I can look. Thanks

I have an '07 Gx470 and the map I got OEM from the dealer (which is the last update apparently) is ver.15.1. I have no agree button. It automatically dissappears

Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I'm wondering about updating the Nav for my '03 GX. I get the whole process of swapping it out...doesn't seem all that complicated. But my main question: does the interface change or does it stay the same and just get updated maps? I didn't realize how archaic it looked until I bought an '08 GX....

You only get new (-ish) map data. The user interface stays in the late 90's...
