Lifts: "Boss Performance" vs. Radflo vs. Icon
Does anyone have experience with the Toytec "Boss Performance" lift kit?
The link is here: http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/...0-_p_1618.html.
I have searched high and low, and there is no mention of it anywhere on any thread in these forums. I was hoping someone could offer a description of the ride quality vs. Icon and Radflo. My question specifically relates to ride quality on the *street*. The GX is our only vehicle. So, my wife drives the GX almost daily and its a bus for our kids and their little buddies. My off-road use is limited to rough logging roads to reach hidden Nor Cal fishing holes -- no rock crawling or baja racing, but it can get hairy enough to justify the larger tires and lift.
I have been researching this issue for many days with little success. Perhaps "Boss Performance" is a new marketing name for Toytec? I need to get this done, since my rear shocks are shot and the back of the truck is jumping around unsafely.
Seems my choices have been wittled down to (1) Toytec Boss Performance; (2) Radflo; (3) Icon. There's plenty on the forums about Radflo vs. Icon. Can you help place the Boss Performance system into context?
Your experience and input are greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Joe
PS: if you happen to know whether these kits will permit installation of 285/70/17 BFG All Terrain tires -- without having to trim anything -- that would be ver helpful.

I have the Toytec Boss setup on my GX and its amazing! Ride is more solid but still rides great, I went with HD rear springs but regular should suit your needs!
You will need to trim and probably do the body mount chop (BMC) if you want to run 285's, spacers will also be needed if running stock wheels.
Good luck!

Just got off the phone with Toytec and, in case anyone is looking into it, the Boss Performance is made by Radflo. So, there you have it. I opted for the 2.0 Boss, looking forward to getting it installed. Scat, thanks for the advice.
