Default Connect iPhone to 04/05 Navi w ML

Need some info guys. I'm doing lots of research. Will be getting an 04 or 05 most likely. Non nav are hard to find.

Is there a way to add bluetooth audio streaming to the ML with NAV option? I need to be able to stream Spotify!

And if there is no way to add bluetooth audio streaming, is there a way to at least add it to connect through the lightning port, so it will play music directly connected into the ML stereo? I'm not sure if there is such an adapter for the 04-05 models, however, I have seen them for newer trucks. Any advice?

IIRC, 07 and up have an audio input plug on the center console you can connect to listen to music like Pandora. No BT music streaming though.

It's not ideal but I went this route. It was inexpensive and if you can find a decent channel the sound quality is actually very good IMO. The bluetooth phone function isn't great, but for streaming music it's great for the cost.

Default Another vote for vasitech

I installed a VSL3 bluetooth adaptor in my 2003 with ML Nav and it is great. Keep in mind the ML systems are notorious for having blown speakers. I had to repair the cones in three of mine. A place called Simply Speakers sells repair kits for cheap. You'll get good at taking the interior apart and putting it back together if you do these two project!

The Vaistech Soundlinq3B is the answer to your problem. I just did mine a few months ago, works great and it's easy to install.
