Cleaned Hazy Headlights
The headlights were starting to look pretty yellow and muggy, so I utilized some elbow grease with various grades of sand paper:

I think it came out okay.

Looks good, but my guess is that it will yellow again pretty quickly unless you keep it waxed religiously or clear coat it. The Sylvania Headlight Restoration Kit is the best kit out there because the UV Block/Clear Coat that it includes is guaranteed to last the life of the car. If you have problems with yellowing, give it a try. I did it on my GX a while ago and the result looked absolutely like new.

Looks great! Find a UV sealant to keep them looking that way.

I really recommend the Sylvania kit if you're looking to do this, I've done it with two Lexus and they both came out amazing. The only thing is, the kit is a bit pricey, around $25, but it has the sandpaper, buffing paste, cleaner, and sealer all in one kit.

take it from me it will not last...I have tried all of the stuff on the market...I paid 400 on eBay for replacement lexus lights.....if you are going to keep the vehicle like I am at 260K miles and an 03, it worth it in the long run

Same here. Used the kits a couple of times (was sure to protect them afterwards) and the haze returned fairly quickly in the Texas sun.
Ended up replacing the units with OEM that I got a good price on. The Chinese-made ones are cheaper, but have a reputation for sometimes leaking.

Get a Pro
In my opinion getting a professional is a good idea as it doesn't cost that much. I got my headlights restored for $65/
Took good 2 hours.
After sanding the UV coating is gone so it needs to be sealed. Mine are still holding up great and its been 3 months. Plus i got warranty for 18 months.
